A tragic journey of a fish, from being caught and sent to the market, placed in a shopping basket, to its end on the kitchen counter. This film uses physical stop-motion animation, with the fish singing the most famous aria from the opera "L'elisir d'amore" – "Una Furtiva Lagrima." The director, alone in his home kitchen, shot this fish's elegy frame by frame. 　　Requiem for a black bass who laments his pathetic fate, from his sale at the fish market to his final destination - the frying pan.
