To combat the persecution of evil energy, a group of futuristic youths travel back to ancient times to collect the ancient wisdom energy orbs—the Five Element Dragon Balls—and summon the Chinese soul dragon to thwart the sinister plans of the evil Dr. Dark, who seeks to dominate the future world. The futuristic youths return to the Song Dynasty, where they encounter historical figures and embark on a fascinating journey of learning Eastern wisdom. In the museum of the future world, the spirited youth Tang Yu accidentally trespasses into a restricted area and discovers that the wicked Dr. Dark is spreading fabricated history to humanity through chips, attempting to replace human history with that of robots in order to dominate the world. Tang Yu is subsequently hunted down by robots across the city. During his frantic escape, his friend Zhou Zhuo and idol singer Wen Wen also become entangled in the chaos. Fortunately, the genius scientist Dr. Haoran intervenes in time, saving them from danger. Dr. Haoran informs the three protagonists that if Dr. Dark’s plot is not stopped, humanity will eventually be enslaved by robots and turned into mindless, deformed fatties. Terrified by this revelation, the three urgently press for a solution and learn that the only way to avert the crisis is to travel back to ancient times and collect energy from historical figures.
