In the far, far south, almost at the edge of the sky, lies a country by the sea called the Kingdom of Summer Insects. The people of this kingdom live for only three seasons—born in spring and dying in autumn. In their historical records, there is a passage that reads: "Ice is the most precious treasure in the world." Yet, no one in the Kingdom of Summer Insects knows what this "ice" truly is. A young and brave general decides to build a great ship to search for the thing called "ice"... 　　 A frog in a well cannot be spoken to about the sea—it is confined by its narrow world. 　　 A summer insect cannot be spoken to about ice—it is bound by its time.
