This art film is a puppet animation. 　　 Mice repeatedly disturb Old Pig's peaceful sleep. At his wit's end, Old Pig has a sudden idea and posts a notice offering a generous reward to hire a skilled mouse-catcher. Both Little White Cat and Little Yellow Cat are attracted by the "generous reward." They end up fighting over the notice, each taking half of it to Old Pig's house. After each boasts of their abilities, Old Pig promises that whoever catches a mouse first will become the housekeeper. Little Yellow Cat attempts to gain without effort but ends up being teased by mice while daydreaming. Little White Cat seizes the opportunity and catches every mouse in sight, but Little Yellow Cat secretly claims the fruits of its labor and receives the housekeeper's key from Old Pig. When Little White Cat presents a pile of mice to Old Pig, its lack of flattery instead angers Old Pig, causing Little White Cat to leave in frustration. Little Yellow Cat serves Old Pig comfortably, and fine wine soon lulls Old Pig into a deep sleep.
