The firefly Deng Deng possesses the supernatural ability to glow, making him the brightest star in the micro world. Just as Deng Deng is reveling in his idol status, an insect-sized alien descends from the sky, whose advanced technology overshadows Deng Deng's brilliance. In search of the brightest light in the world, Deng Deng is deceived by the likes of Professor Du and unfortunately falls into the trap set by the Wolf King. The extraterrestrial visitor Aurora leads the forest spirits to form an Insect Special Forces team to rescue Deng Deng, but they all find themselves in dire straits. Meanwhile, the Wolf King has already acquired a gigantic weapon of astonishing power, ready to destroy Deng Deng's homeland. Deng Deng and the extraterrestrial visitor join forces to embark on a great adventure to defend their home, as the firefly's light begins to spread across the land.
