At the Chiba Prefectural Chiba School for the Blind dormitory, which operated on a system where students returned home only on weekends, children with various visual impairments attended. One day, a young male teacher named Yukihiro Shinoda arrived at the school. Filled with passion and hope, Shinoda immediately tried to bond with the children, but they were reluctant to open up to him. Noticing the children’s enthusiasm for the TV show *Captain Tsubasa*, which they listened to on the radio, Shinoda was inspired when Naoki, a clingy child with nystagmus, asked, "Teacher, how do you shoot a soccer ball?" He decided to encourage them to play soccer.
