"Hanakappa: Hana Sake! Pakkān♪ Chō no Kuni no Daibōken" (lit. "The Movie Hanakappa: Flowers Bloom! Pakkān♪ The Great Adventure in the Country of Butterflies") is the first film adaptation, released on April 12, 2013. It was screened alongside the short musical anime film "That's Hanakappa Musical: Bread or Rice, Which Is It!?". The screenings were tailored for children, with measures such as keeping the theater lighting brighter, lowering the volume, and allowing children to be vocal. Its final box office revenue is estimated to be 100 million yen.
