In the barren mountains and treacherous waters, amidst flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder, in this desolate and perilous place, the Grim Reaper, wielding a scythe, dances joyfully. Inside a small cabin perched on the mountain, a lonely writer is engaged in a grueling creative battle akin to war. In his writings, people reside in bustling towns—some faithful, some faithless, some wise, some foolish—all living carefree and content lives. Unwilling to witness even this illusory prosperity, the Grim Reaper leaps into the writer's book, casting the shadow of death across its pages. Within the book, people are tormented by illness. Corpses of the starved litter the ground, survival is uncertain from day to day, and the city is left nearly empty, with nine out of ten households gone.
Just as the Grim Reaper sneers and flaunts his supreme power, a shimmer of multicolored light catches his attention. A young sorcerer, with his peculiar illusions, dispels the gloom from people's faces and spreads long-lost joy to those around him—much to the Grim Reaper's fury...
