Synopsis
Are dreams truly the fulfillment of desires unattainable in reality? The Czech surrealist animation master, who deeply influenced fantasy directors like Tim Burton and Terry Gilliam, once again showcases his signature blend of live-action and paper-cut animation. This time, he presents a "psychoanalytic comedy" about a middle-aged man obsessed with his dreams, boldly poking fun at Freud, Jung, and psychologists who constantly talk about the "subconscious." With his trademark wit, sharpness, and absurd imagination, he crafts a survival rulebook that spans dreams and reality!
