On a tranquil day, Frank visits his old friend Joseph, whom he hasn't seen in a long time. Joseph drives the car, brimming with excitement and chattering incessantly. Before long, the car stops near Joseph's home. To Frank's astonishment as a first-time visitor, the fence around his friend's house is actually made up of living people—men and women, old and young, seemingly from different social classes. Each person remains silent, as if lifeless, yet subtle, almost imperceptible movements still remind Frank that they are indeed alive. Living at the pinnacle of this pyramid-like existence, Joseph focuses entirely on breeding his purebred rabbits, carelessly scolding the "fence" for not being diligent enough.
The longer Frank stays in this eerie place, the more questions arise in his mind...
