This film tells three cyclical stories:
1) A man stands beside two chairs placed side by side, practicing how to fly. From his initial attempts at leaping empty-handed, to three subsequent stages aided by wings of varying sizes, and then back to his original state—the cycle repeats. 2) A man holding a whip stands on the left, while a gentle dog crouches on the right. As the whip rises and falls, the dog performs various actions, and throughout this process, the roles of master and servant between the man and the dog seem to shift. Left and right, the only constant is the rising and falling whip. 3) A figure who seems to carry history holds a pencil in hand. He sketches the shape of a house in the air, only to find he cannot enter it. So he erases the lines and starts over, drawing himself inside the house. When he wishes to leave, he cannot break free from the constraints of the lines. He must erase them once more, and the cycle begins again...
