A 16mm film work, 16 minutes in length.
Inspired by Ando Hiroshige's woodblock prints, this short film features Brakhage's scratched film emulsion layers illuminated under Solomon's lighting design, adding a unique texture.
The collaboration between the two masters presents an abstract interpretation that awakens the wild forces of nature. Brakhage's scratched film reels are transformed by Solomon's lighting and coloring into a torrent of colors.
This film is also a sub-work within Brakhage's extensive collection, the "..." series.
