纸人国

This art film is a paper-cut animation, with Wang Jiaqi and Fu Yun serving as screenwriters, character and background designs by Ge Chunxue and Yao Guanghua respectively, and narrated by Bi Ke. 　　In the Paper People Kingdom, aside from the king, the distinctive characters include the unscrupulous General Que De, who is full of wicked ideas, and the righteous Little Flat Man. One day, the king summoned his ministers to select a Grand General to protect the kingdom—a matter of utmost importance. The ministers debated fervently, and General Que De, believing himself capable, volunteered for the position. However, he faced unanimous opposition from the other ministers. As General Que De argued fiercely with the ministers, the king announced a martial contest to recruit the worthy. In his bid to become the Grand General, Que De resorted to a cunning scheme, kidnapping and hiding all the talented candidates who came for the test in his own home. During his actions, Little Flat Man stepped forward, declaring his disapproval. General Que De decided to eliminate Little Flat Man as well, but Little Flat Man was not so easy to deal with. Sure enough, when Que De arrogantly dominated the competition arena alone, Little Flat Man emerged once again.
