Under the scorching sun, Mother Duck, carrying a basket of duckling eggs, is exhausted and thirsty from her journey. Seeing her plight, the Sun suggests she leave her babies behind for a moment to find a place to rest. Worried about her babies' safety, Mother Duck hesitates, but a thoughtful little bird quickly brings leaves to hide the duckling eggs. Shortly after Mother Duck leaves, the eggs hatch—nine yellow ducklings and one white one. After sizing each other up, the ten ducklings line up and head toward the river. When Mother Duck returns to find only empty eggshells, she rushes off to search for her babies. Meanwhile, the little white duck encounters a cunning fox and nearly loses its life. Soon after, it joins forces with its siblings to fight back against the fox. At the critical moment, Mother Duck arrives.
