In a mountain forest, small animals like rabbits, deer, and squirrels live happily. One day, Little White Rabbit and Little Deer go out to pick mushrooms and encounter a big, vicious wolf. Little Deer shouts, "The wolf is coming!" and quickly runs away. Little White Rabbit doesn’t have time to escape and is nearly caught by the wolf when a woodcutter’s child named Amang arrives and saves her. Meanwhile, Little Deer, who had run off, meets the vicious wolf again by the river. While fleeing once more, he accidentally tumbles down a hillside. As the wolf chases from behind, Little White Rabbit and Mother Rabbit see the situation and, disregarding the danger, step forward to fight the wolf. At that moment, Amang, Little Deer’s father and mother, and Little Squirrel all arrive. Together, they surround and attack the vicious wolf. In the end, it is Amang who comes up with a plan to finally defeat the wolf. With the menace eliminated, the small animals hold a dance party for Amang, and everyone calls him the "Little Hero."
