On a somewhat melancholic, chilly rainy night, a lonely man whiles away his idle time alone at home—feeding the fish, shaving, gazing out the window—everything unbearably dull. A police drama plays on the TV, which the man watches half-heartedly. After dinner, he heads out to repair some damaged cables nearby. Little does he know that this ordinary, simple task will, through a strange twist of fate, cause the robbers from the TV to break into the real world. A fantastical adventure thus begins...
This film won the Best International Animated Short Film award at the 1998 Ankara International Film Festival, the Silver Dragon at the 1998 Krakow Film Festival, the Best British Animation award at the 1997 Edinburgh International Film Festival, the Best Animated Short Film award at the 1998 Melbourne International Film Festival, the Audience Award for Best Short Film at the 1999 Polish Film Festival, and both the Audience Award and First Prize at the 1998 Zagreb World Festival of Animated Films.
