On the sunny beach, Mickey and his good friends Donald and Goofy are hunched over, examining a blueprint. It's a guide on how to build your own boat, and the friends are full of confidence, ready to get started. They open a large wooden crate, and the keel pops out like a foldable toy. Later, they open an iron box, and the parts inside spring open, forming what looks like a mast for sailors to look out from. Next comes the related repair work: Goofy is in charge of nailing the planks, but the planks keep springing back, causing him plenty of trouble. Donald is responsible for painting, while Mickey handles assembling the various parts of the hull. However, their work unintentionally interferes with each other, creating quite a few problems for everyone.
In their efforts to build their own boat, the friends face many setbacks. Wishing you smooth sailing on your voyage!
