This is the first film in the series, a theatrical version of the TV anime depicting the exploits of an elementary school teacher who uses his demonic hand to exorcise evil spirits. It was screened as part of the "Toei Anime Fair" program. A timid girl, Kumiko Iijima, accidentally witnesses a wanted criminal and musters the courage to report him to the police. The criminal, who was seriously injured and arrested after crashing into Tenguzuka while fleeing, later has his resentment exploited by an evil spirit, giving birth to the monstrous Black Cape. Subsequently, girls with the initials K.I., marked by the red ribbon Kumiko wore, are targeted and attacked one after another. To protect the targeted Kumiko and the children, their homeroom teacher, Nūbē, resolutely stands up! A work with the quintessential *Nūbē* atmosphere, based on urban legends. Since the simultaneously screened *GeGeGe no Kitarō* was the spectacular feature *The Great Sea Beast*, this provided a good balance? The popular heroine Yukime also makes an appearance.
