This film is produced by four graduates of the Georges Melies School—Thomas Dufour, Quentin Retif, Benjamin Weislo, and Marc-Antoine Cesari—and tells a thrilling and entertaining heist story in the style of a Western.
The story follows a heavyset woman named Bertha who attempts to rob a wilderness supermarket. Her timid psychology and disjointed movements, however, allow the petite supermarket owner Amber to gain the upper hand. What was originally a premeditated robbery turns into a comical disaster. The post-credits scene leaves viewers wondering whether this heavyset woman can seek revenge for herself.
The film’s script is lighthearted and amusing. The robber and the female owner—one heavyset, the other slender; one weak, the other strong—create a striking visual contrast and power imbalance that leaves a deep impression while also generating comedic effect.
The showdown between the two, with guns blazing and an intense,热血激昂 (passionate and stirring) background score, evokes the feel of a Western shootout.
