In a small village by the forest, there lives an old man and an old woman who love to take petty advantages. They can feel smug for a long time just by driving their chickens to the threshing ground to steal others' grains. A cunning fox, after stealing one of their chickens, sees large, round grapes on the way back. Remembering their weakness, a plan comes to mind. The fox holds the grapes in its hands, pretending to have reformed its bad habits, and uses sweet talk to coax the old man and old woman into happily accepting the grapes. They even entrust the fox with the task of watching the chickens. Later, the fox uses more smooth talk along with tangible gifts to lure a wolf and a wild boar into the old couple's home. While the old man and old woman sleep soundly, dreaming sweet dreams, their chickens, sheep, pigs, and other livestock have long been stolen by these three creatures.
