新装的门铃

The man installed a new doorbell, admired it proudly, then closed the door and waited for someone to ring it. Footsteps approached outside, making his heart race, but whether it was the female neighbor from upstairs or the child bouncing a ball, they only paused briefly outside his door. Finally, someone came looking for him, but that fellow actually started knocking loudly on the door. Naturally, the man ignored him. 　　 Then, an equally tactless postman arrived, pounding forcefully on the door. The man, furious and pale-faced, banged back for a while before finally opening it. After receiving the money order handed by the postman, the man asked him to press his newly installed doorbell. Expecting to hear the crisp sound of the bell at last, the man instead only heard the roar of the motorcycle starting up.
