Long, long ago, deep within the Diancang Mountains of Dali, Yunnan, in the mysterious and eerie Black Dragon Pond, lurked an evil Sow Dragon. Every three years, it would emerge into the human world, summoning wind and rain, stirring up trouble, and slaughtering the common folk. Even during ordinary times, anyone who approached the Black Dragon Pond would fall victim to the Sow Dragon's cruelty. Bai carpenter Master Yang and his son Qi Jin were passing through the area when Qi Jin, fetching water for his father, was swept into the Black Dragon Pond by the Sow Dragon. Grief-stricken, Master Yang learned of the nearby villagers' suffering and decided to eliminate the Sow Dragon. Together with a pair of orphaned siblings, he meticulously carved a wooden dragon, preparing it to battle the Sow Dragon. But the Sow Dragon was cunning and versatile, capable of changing forms at will. Can Master Yang and the others succeed in vanquishing this fierce and vicious beast?
