On October 25, 2015, Enlight Media announced the establishment of "Coloroom Pictures." Prior to the release of the film "Monkey King: Hero Is Back," Enlight had already invested in "October Media," owned by the film's director Tian Xiaopeng. On the same day, Tian Xiaopeng also announced two major animated films: "Monkey King: Havoc in Heaven" and "Deep Sea." In "Monkey King: Havoc in Heaven," the Monkey King during the "Havoc in Heaven" episode is at the peak of his vigor and spirit. "Havoc in Heaven" has little connection with previous works; it is Tian Xiaopeng's fresh interpretation of "Journey to the West" and the type of Monkey King-themed story he most wanted to create.
