The anime creator Ryan Larkin calls himself a beggar. As he walks down the street, a familiar beggar approaches him, hoping for some charity. However, Ryan has no intention of reaching into his pocket—he doesn’t even know who he could get money from himself. If possible, he would pray to anyone, be it God or Satan. While he stands on the street lost in thought, several children criticize his half-hearted, unenthusiastic way of begging—why not take off his hat and sing a song? Right, why not? As Laurie Gordon’s powerful singing voice fills the air, Ryan’s dull world suddenly transforms, revealing a vibrant, fantastical realm of wild imagination and dazzling colors before the eyes of this down-and-out animator... This film is a collaborative work between animator Ryan Larkin and his singer-songwriter friend Laurie Gordon.
