On the streets of New York City, it was just another ordinary, bustling day. Beside an empty lot, a pile of discarded waste stood in front of a trash can. At that moment, a man carried an outdated color TV and placed it next to the garbage before walking away. Shortly after he left, the television turned on by itself, displaying a pixel bomb on the screen. The bomb exploded, the screen cracked, and a monster composed entirely of colorful pixels soared into the air. It flew higher and higher, its form constantly shifting. The pixel bullets it dripped struck a taxi, transforming the car into a pile of blocks. After that, iconic video game characters from the era of the Nintendo Entertainment System—such as Galaga, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Tetris—flooded the streets and alleys, recklessly devouring, destroying, and pixelating this modern metropolis. The Earth faced an unprecedented crisis.
