This is a French-Japanese-Korean collaborative action magical girl anime. Set in modern-day Paris, France, two very different high school students, Marinette and Adrien, are chosen to save Paris from the dark conspiracies lurking in the city. Their primary mission is to capture akumas, creatures that transform ordinary people into super-powered criminals. These two teenagers, embarking on this adventure, each transform. Marinette becomes Ladybug, while Adrien transforms into Cat Noir. Unaware of each other's true identities, Marinette does not know that Cat Noir is Adrien, whom she secretly admires. Similarly, Adrien does not know that Ladybug is the girl from his very own class. As for the 2D Toei version, there is no precise news yet. According to last year's official website announcement, it is expected to be released online after the 3D version finishes airing.
