As a student at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Israel, graphic designer and saxophonist Michal's graduation project is a building influenced by music. The tower-like structure self-assembles and deconstructs to the rhythm of John Coltrane's famous jazz piece "Giant Steps." She specifically chose this piece because, in jazz history, it was the first time artists based their music on symmetrical patterns, creating a mathematical division within the realm of music.
