The sun rises, marking the start of a new day. In a large, empty house, an alarm clock blares loudly, and Mr. Tanuki springs out of bed. He folds his blanket, places it on a nearby stool, and rushes to the closet to turn off the alarm. However, the clock is too high for him to reach, so he moves the stool over, only to position it incorrectly. After several attempts, flustered and forgetful—completing one task only to neglect another—he finally manages to silence the alarm. Seeing that much time has been wasted, Mr. Tanuki hurriedly proceeds with the next tasks, but his memory proves too unreliable, and everything descends into chaos, pushing him to the brink of a breakdown. With some external help, Mr. Tanuki eventually gets everything in order and sets off for a joyful trip to the seaside.
May heaven bless the terribly disorganized Mr. Tanuki with a pleasant journey...
