This is a highly impactful and gripping short film that examines perception—specifically, perception through the eyes of children. Employing very basic yet deceptively simple hand-drawn animation (featuring some highly entertaining visual tricks throughout), it essentially tells two stories: the story as the children see it, and the probable reality the audience may deduce from the same "facts." It is somewhat akin to Rashomon, though with only one version presented on screen. It deservedly won a BAFTA, if I recall correctly. Well worth seeking out. Highly recommended.
