An anime adaptation based on the game "Final Fantasy Series" released by SQUARE ENIX, but it has no connection to other works in the "Final Fantasy Series". Living in a quiet fishing village on Sado Island, Niigata Prefecture, "Ai" and "Yu" are twin siblings. Their parents are the renowned physicist couple, Dr. Hayakawa. The twins learned that at a specific time, a dark pillar would appear and began investigating it, after which their parents went missing. To find their lost parents, Ai and Yu board a subway within the dark pillar that leads to another world. During their journey, they meet "Lisa," who can use Kigenjutsu, and "Kaze," who wields a magic gun, unfolding a series of extraordinary stories...
