On a sunny day, Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) is picking out food at the grocery store. He weighs the selected vegetables and tosses them into the basket held by Pluto. As he busies himself, he hums a cheerful tune, as if something good is about to happen. Suddenly, the phone on the wall rings, and in his haste, he drops potatoes all over the floor. The thoughtful Pluto quickly positions himself like a ladder, and Mickey steps on the dog to answer the call. On the other end is the beautiful and reserved Minnie (voiced by Marcellite Garner), who orders Mickey to quickly deliver the items she ordered. Mickey hurriedly agrees and even sends a flying kiss to the girl—this turns out to be the reason for his happy work. Afterward, he and Pluto rush to Minnie’s house. Following a small misunderstanding, the two lovers reconcile and begin cooking delicious food…
