In a humble and dilapidated country theater, Mickey (voiced by Walt Disney) is leading his orchestra in a solemn symphony performance. Accompanied by beautiful music, the grand curtain behind the band slowly opens. Miss Cow, dressed as a flower, sways her graceful figure to the enchanting melody, while Minnie (voiced by Marcellite Garner) plays the role of a fairy, flying freely through the air. The audience below watches the performance attentively, fully immersed, and bursts into enthusiastic applause during the climax. Among the spectators sits a rather annoying old man, Dippy Dawg (voiced by Pinto Colvig), who sometimes munches on peanuts as if no one else is around and at other times laughs loudly and unrestrainedly, drawing disapproval from the surrounding audience. The show continues, with one spectacular act after another captivating the audience and making them forget to leave...
This film introduces a new character, Dippy Dawg, who would later become Goofy.
