Tom ordered a book by mail titled "How to Catch Mice." He tried each chapter one by one, but either the methods didn't work or Jerry managed to counter them one after another. The war between the two little ones was far from over—they battled fiercely throughout the house, starting from simple mousetraps to all kinds of tools and even fireworks, using everything at their disposal as weapons to gain the upper hand. Yet no matter how hard Tom tried, it seemed he was always the one who ended up suffering in the end... This film won the 1945 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
