In the snow-covered suburbs, the simple-minded Pluto presses his body and nose against the snowy ground, sniffing carefully for any food that might be hidden beneath the snow. Just then, he hears the urgent and tender cries of a kitten in distress. It turns out that in the middle of a partially frozen stream, a newborn kitten has been stuffed into a cloth bag, tied tightly, and cruelly thrown into the river, intended to drown. Unaware of the situation, Pluto fishes the bag out of the water. The drenched kitten, oblivious to Pluto's confused and disgusted expression, grows particularly affectionate toward the big dog who saved her. Of course, Pluto is not the type of dog to lower his guard so easily. He arrogantly shoos the kitten away and struts back home with his head held high, only to find that the kitten has followed him back. However, upon seeing his owner Mickey Mouse's fondness for the kitten, Pluto can no longer hide the jealousy in his heart, and the wicked side of his soul takes over...
