The stage for this new series of "Dragon Ball" is set after the epic battle between Goku and Majin Buu, following the restoration of peace on Earth. With the encounter of Beerus, the God of Destruction awakening from a long slumber, and the resurrection of Frieza, once revered as the "Emperor of the Universe," new threats continue to close in on Goku and his friends. Adding to these dangers, mysterious phenomena of disappearing planets occur around Earth, and a mysterious new character, "Champa," makes his appearance.
