Many years ago, two planets at the far end of the galaxy were swallowed by a black hole, and two alien infants arrived on Earth in a spacecraft. Growing up with superpowers in vastly different environments, they developed distinct personalities and life paths. As adults, the handsome and righteous one became Metro Man (voiced by Brad Pitt), the guardian of the city's peace, while the grotesque, blue-skinned, big-headed one transformed into the villain Megamind (voiced by Will Ferrell), who wreaks havoc on the people's well-being. They fought endlessly, locked in perpetual conflict. On the opening day of the Metro Man Museum, Megamind successfully broke out of prison and kidnapped the beautiful news anchor Roxanne Ritchi (voiced by Tina Fey). In the final showdown at the observatory, Megamind defeated his longtime rival and took complete control of the city. However, the good times didn’t last. Without his adversary, Megamind soon grew bored. Inspired by a chance encounter with Roxanne, he decided to create a new hero to restore the thrilling back-and-forth battles of the past. But everything began to spiral in unpredictable directions...
