机巧奇传

"Kikou Kidan Hiou Senki" (also known as "Hiou Senki") is a 26-episode television anime series set in Japan from the Bakumatsu period to the Meiji Restoration. It follows the adventures of the protagonist, Hiou, who pilots a giant puppet named "Homura" through the turbulent times. The series first aired on NHK Satellite 2 every Tuesday at 18:30 starting in October 2000. It was later rebroadcast in 2004 on Kids Station and MBS (within the Anime Shower programming block). A manga adaptation also exists. The Chinese version was published in Taiwan by Sharp Point Publishing under the title "Mufu Youlong - Jiqiao Qichuan" (The Wandering Dragon of the Shogunate - Kikou Kidan).
