In the epic Old English poem "Beowulf," the protagonist Beowulf (Ray Winstone) is a warrior of immense strength and formidable combat prowess, destined to face three pivotal battles that will shape his legacy. To save a village plundered by the monstrous Grendel (Crispin Glover), Beowulf leads a band of warriors across the sea to confront the beast. After a bloody and grueling battle, Grendel is finally defeated by the warriors. However, the conflict is far from over—Grendel's mother (Angelina Jolie), seeking vengeance, challenges Beowulf to another fight. An even greater battle is about to unfold.
