Deep in the Pacific Ocean lies the subterranean city of Bikini Bottom, home to a square yellow sponge named SpongeBob SquarePants. Living in a pineapple with his pet snail Gary, SpongeBob adores his job as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab and has a natural talent for stumbling into trouble without even trying. When he's not irritating his grumpy neighbor Squidward, SpongeBob often finds himself in the midst of bizarre adventures with his simple but endearing starfish best friend, Patrick, or his thrill-seeking surfer-squirrel pal, Sandy Cheeks.
