In truth, things are far more complicated than they appear on the surface. It all began when the Dipankara Buddha stepped down, and Sakyamuni ascended to the highest leadership position in the divine realm. Yet, everything has its cause and effect. Although Sakyamuni managed the gods and immortals with great order, he could not escape the day when he would be replaced by Maitreya Buddha.
