On a day that should have been peaceful, Captain America (voiced by Roger Craig Smith) and Iron Man (voiced by Adrian Pasdar), two close friends, challenge each other, neither willing to concede defeat, yet their friendship is proven through this process. On the other hand, the ambitious Red Skull (voiced by Liam O'Brien) refuses to accept his previous defeat. He hires the Taskmaster (voiced by Clancy Brown), who has mastered all the skills of the Avengers superheroes, vowing to completely destroy his two formidable opponents, Captain America and Iron Man. Following the earlier plan, a squad of Hydra soldiers invades Stark's aircraft, stealing the powerful Repulsor Cannon; meanwhile, Captain America encounters the Taskmaster and ultimately becomes his captive, facing the grim fate of being transformed by the Red Skull. Driven by the Red Skull's sinister plot, a pair of former friends become mortal enemies on opposite sides of good and evil...
