A libertine is frolicking at a seaside resort. He flirts with a young woman, gets beaten and scolded by her husband, and is finally pushed into the sea, ending up drenched like a drowned rat. French film historian Georges Sadoul believed that this animation already possessed some fundamental characteristics of modern animated films. For example, "a certain reflection of time, clever plot, typical characters, gags, special effects photography, a compact and lively storyline, synchronized music, beautiful sets, and moving colors, etc." The scenes and visuals that appear in it also closely resemble "shot compositions."
This film is a silent, short color animation.
