The story takes place in Cuba in 1948. By chance, pianist Chico (voiced by Enan Oña) meets a young woman named Rita (voiced by Limara Meneses). Rita’s beautiful singing captivates Chico, and the two kindred spirits spark a flame of love. After some twists and turns, Chico and Rita finally come together. Sharing the same aspirations, they decide to pursue their musical dreams side by side. Rita’s talent soon opens up new opportunities for her, and with the help of producer Ron (voiced by Lenny Mandel), the couple arrives in the bustling metropolis of New York. In this city filled with opportunities and temptations, Rita becomes an overnight sensation. However, a series of unexpected events gradually drive a wedge between her and Chico. Will Chico be able to realize his dreams? And can their love ever blossom into something lasting?
