In the depths of the dense forest, a black bear sits quietly, shaving the fur from its own body. Only the cold, buzzing sound of the razor remains; the black bear’s fur is nearly gone. The scattered hair and shavings on the ground transform into fluttering butterflies, drifting through the dappled light and shadows of the woods. The black bears, now stripped of all their fur, wrap themselves in heavy black coats and the only bright red scarves, leaving behind the forest they once relied on for survival, and embark on a journey to find their destination. Along the way, they follow the butterflies, losing themselves in a desolate, empty space. In the dim gray expanse of time and space, everything is dull and lifeless, except for the red scarves tied around their necks. When they finally reach the edge of the world, a white bear lies peacefully on a drifting piece of ice floating from afar. Everything seems to plunge into a dream—the black bear and the white bear lock eyes... When the dream awakens, the black bear boards the floating ice, leaves his companions behind, and disappears into the vast, pale sea.
