The story of "Midori-ko" primarily revolves around a secret research facility located within ruins, where Midori-ko is born. Originally, Midori-ko's creation was intended by humans as an ideal food combining vegetables and meat to address the food crisis. However, as a human-made being, Midori-ko refuses to be eaten and escapes from the research facility. Following her escape, a battle driven by appetite ensues between the hungry residents and the scientists determined to retrieve Midori-ko.
