In 2035, on the artificially created Microcomputer Island located in the southern latitudes, a laboratory dedicated to robotics and AI research was established. In less than a decade, the laboratory achieved significant scientific breakthroughs, creating a vast number of robots. To allow these robots to safely learn common sense, the laboratory founded a school where AI and humans study together—Screen Middle School. The school enforces a strict credit system; students who fail to earn sufficient credits face severe penalties, while robots are recalled to the laboratory for disposal.
