Bakugan could now live on Earth alongside humans, and Bakugan battles evolved into a professional sport on Earth. During the ultimate showdown among Dan, Shun, Marucho, and Runo, four giant steel robots led by Wiseman descended from the sky, along with the "Nonet Army" composed of eight evil Bakugan, aiming to destroy Dragonoid and the Bakugan world. Dan, Marucho, and Shun once again stepped forward to protect the world they shared with the Bakugan, igniting a final battle crucial to the survival of all humanity and the Bakugan. Meanwhile, the mysterious figure Wiseman, who manipulated everything behind the Nonet Army, schemed a shocking conspiracy beneath his enigmatic mask.
