As previously introduced to players, Japanese company Capcom held a "Capcom Fighting Festival" event in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan on November 3rd, announcing that the popular arcade versus fighting port "Street Fighter 4" (Street Fighter IV), scheduled for a multi-platform release on PS3 and Xbox 360 in winter 2009, is set to launch in February 2009. It will include a special early-purchase bonus: an approximately 60-minute feature-length animated film produced by Studio4℃. Now, the official announcement confirms that this cross-platform new release is scheduled for February 12, 2009, priced at 8,390 yen for each version. Additionally, the disc packaging design and animation stills for this early-purchase "Feature-Length Animation DVD" have been revealed! As part of the commemorative activities for the 20th anniversary of the "Street Fighter 4" series, this latest home console version not only revises characters like "Gouken" and "Seth," who previously gave players a hard time in the arcade version, making them playable, but also significantly enhances and beautifies the visuals and systems in every aspect. For fans of the series, this is an absolute must-not-miss!
