Based on Kinoko Nasu's novel of the same name, this is a 3D adaptation of Chapter 1, "Overlooking View," the story's beginning, from the seven-part theatrical film series "The Garden of Sinners" released from 2007 to 2009. At the end of a certain summer, a series of inexplicable suicides by jumping occurs, involving girls from different schools with no apparent connections, reported as a baffling mystery. Shiki Ryougi, a girl who possesses the "Mystic Eyes of Death Perception" capable of seeing the lines of death and the flaws in all living things, sets out to investigate the incidents. However, Shiki herself has a certain unavoidable reason for being involved in these events.
