The Looney Tunes Show is an American animated television series (based on the original Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies characters and series from 1930–1969). Unlike the previous Looney Tunes cartoons, it is rated TV-PG, making it the first Looney Tunes cartoon to have that rating. The Looney Tunes Show is a new animated series centered around the classic Looney Tunes characters. In this new iteration, the classic characters are given new interpersonal dynamics, such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, the iconic rivals, becoming roommates. It is also the first Looney Tunes animation in history to receive a content rating, which is TV-PG.
